More Baby Steps …

Cuz that’s how we move forward!  But first … Look at this!  Aunt Piggy and Uncle Clyde ‘lording’ over the Neo babies … Too Cute! And back to baby steps:  We got the new shelving unit up – and full.  I like it.  Sure, I’d like it bigger, BUT … I have my lesser-used (coe96 …

Growing …

Chloe’s pups sure are!  They turned 5 wks old today … the cutest little stinkers!!! And, I’m growing my skill set as a card maker … slowly.  I did some water coloring with the Peerless travel set: Played with scraps of paper for a background Revisited a couple of stamps for some copic coloring:     …

Computers & Cute Puppies

Spent 3-4 hours this week fighting with my new computer, Windows 10 and technology.   Aaarrggh!  I now realize nothing is compatible with Windows 10.  Previously purchased (expensive) software programs (Corel, Excel, WinZip) need to be upgraded (‘at a discount’ … MY ARSE!), reinstalled, reconfigured … Good Lawdy!  But, my computer, my files and my plotter …

Sunshine and Summer-Lovin’

Thank goodness for sunshine, pool-time and Summer!  I am officially over this past (nursing) weekend!  I’ve also played a bit in the studio:  Freeze-N-Fuse … It’s been 3+ years since I last fiddled with the technique.  Much better results this time around!  So, ya know … more ideas! I’m also playing with my plotter, working …

Moving right along …

Got through our tax session (Thanks Jim!) and a fun-filled E.R. weekend; Despite meeting one of the most unpleasant airline employees ever (service desk), we now have extended, four-legged family in NH, CO, NJ, PA and FL.  The pups did great! Which brings us to Thursday.  I’m almost over this cruddy virus.  I’m playing in …

Glass-On + Viral Overload = Huckleberry

Or – SLOW MOVING … But, it’s moving, so I’m not going to gripe. OK, I am gonna whine.  But – ya know – I’m NOT calling an ambulance … So, in my saintly-stoic/virally-saturated-world – while I patiently wait for the meningitis to consume me, I’ve become acutely aware of a group of abdominal muscles that I …

But HE Started It!

OH!!!  It is SOO DH’s fault … He sent a de-funk Craig’s List item that promised a new storage rack/work station in my COE-90 designated work area.  HE emailed the no-good listing to me.  Now I WANT one!  Shelves for my frits, upright storage for my glass, a place to tuck much-needed tools, AND a …

So far, so good – and the experiment continues …

I’m waiting for my kiln to finish (6+ hours to go), but so far, my ‘speriment’ is working.  I doubt she’ll fuse all the way to what I’ve envisionded, but … maybe – because she’s fired face-down with Wissmach Luminescent … We’ll see.  It’s no replacement for No Days Wafer Sheet … but, it does keep …

We interrupt this technology …

To bring you an afternoon with internet searches and technical support.  My favorite … trying to figure out why something computer/electronic isn’t working.  But special thanks to Mike at USCutters, and my fancy plotter is up and running again!!!  (Now, I have no idea why my other, less expensive Eclips is misbehaving … but that’s …
