My little Peanut …

Playing with frit again.  Here’s a tweaked picture of my Maggie Rose – from a few years ago, before she got chubby.  [The poor girl has so many nicknames: Mags, Peanut, Fat-Butt, Magnolia Rosebud … she comes to all of them – especially when food is involved.]  Anyway, here’s my glass rendition … fusing in …

Too tired to worry …

WWU:  Oh how I wish we could get through this flu season already!  I took care of some folks this weekend who were producing … um … ‘body fluids’ in so many WRONG colors and shades (and we won’t even mention the textures or aromas!) … And now, it would appear various strains are spreading …

Christmas 2012 …

We all had a great day!  And, I’m loving the fact that DH and I are now old enough we don’t have to do the Crazy Christmas Circuit – where you drive your cranky little ones all over the state and back again to make the ‘Christmas rounds’.  This is much better!  A relaxed family …

It’s crunch time …

The next 8 days are gonna be so crazy/busy … good thing I love stress! I have adorable kids to get me through! The babies will start moving on to their new homes starting next week … but, we are keeping one.  Since the twins are learning Spanish (so I am too – a little) …

Another one bites the dust …

Have passed through another year of life … DH likes to say I’m catching up to him.  ‘Course I point out he’ll always be OLDER!  So far, it’s been [another] busy, productive week:  Made candles; went to Metro; spent time catching up/celebrating with my family (phone, visit, phone, phone!); did a little home canine nursing …

Cuz Moms CAN!

Been a busy week here at Clayton Hill!  But a great week, too! * I’ve been busy in the studio – in stolen ‘patches’ of time – which may make me more productive (???).  I have new dichroic cabs (that will become pendants, badge reels and now … PINS!), as well as some other dichroic jewelry …
