Food, Family and Fall …
Finally some cold working, some kiln work … some production! And some spoon rests that I’ll be adding to our shop very soon!
I played with paper too. I have wanted to make fall themed backgrounds – I love these! Now to figure out how to finish them …
I’ve been producing in the studio, in between long RIP VAN WINKLE-like slumbers (15 hours on Wednesday) … WTH?!?
Our daughter and future son-in-law came out for dinner this week. Nothing too fancy, but here’s what we made: Creamy Herbed Chicken Stew (slightly modified, with red potatoes, spinach, parsnips, water chestnuts and mushrooms, no celery), Sweet Potato Gratin (officially known in our house as Brooke’s Potatoes), along with a salad, and brownies for dessert. [PS – thank you again for the recipe, Kalyn!]
It was fun having our girl and her beau for dinner. Just need to say it … Love you Baby Girl, so proud of you!!!
I’ll leave with a cute photo of Beulah Blue – our newest family member. Have a great weekend, Y’all!
