Labor Day Give-Away

In honor of Labor Day, I’m having my first ‘Give Away’!  Here’s the prize:

labor-day-5

A necklace from our new (Rorschach) Inkblot series [What do YOU see?].  Here are the rules:

  1. “Like” us on our Clayton Hill Studio facebook page (link at your right), if you haven’t already …
  2. Make a comment (on our facebook page) – anything (PG-13) you’d like.

That’s it.  That’s all it takes to enter.  On Friday, 9/5/14 at 12MN (EDT), I will randomly choose a name (yeah, that ‘random picker app’) and announce the lucky winner.  [Announcement here and on FB.]  Come on people … help a sister out, please!

More about the necklace:  This handmade pendant started in my torch with frit and rod (bits of glass).  It was then shaped and fired in our kiln twice to form this end design. Yellow gold organza necklace is included (Wow – what a deal!).
This cabochon measures just over 1 inch wide x just over 1 inch long.  A stainless steel (hypoallergenic) ring attaches it to the necklace.  The necklace measures 18 inches with 2 inch silver metal link extender.

In the meantime … Happy Labor Day!!!  I’m going to kick back, relax and reflect on just how grateful I am that the (ER nursing) weekend is over!  Winking smile

happy labor day

About claytonhill

Artisan of beautiful and functional art, handmade in our glass studio. All items one of a kind due to the nature of our medium. A little about me: As the mother of four children, multiple four-legged 'children', wife and an ER nurse ... I've always found pleasure in pursuing creative outlets. My current 'hobby' is kiln-formed glass. As I never do anything 'half-way' ... my husband and I are really enjoying this medium. Other hobbies have included/include stained glass, quilting, knitting, wine making, candles - oh, and a brief trial of the ancient Ukranian art of etching designs on blown eggs ... don't ask. :) You can view my on-line glass store at www.chneos.etsy.com
